The purpose of this cache is to decorate a Charlie Brown type Christmas Tree. Bring your own ornament or trade for one of mine. The cache started out with 15 ornaments, a package of hangers and a sharpie pen in case you want to put your name on your ornament.
You can reach this cache from the main Tiger Mountain train head off of I-90, but it will be a lot easier if you go one exit farther east and park at N47 31.847, W121 56.720.
A couple of years ago I discovered this seldom used trail into Tiger Mountain and also found a tree with Christmas decorations high up the trail. I intended to make that tree into a cache, but either I made a wrong turn, or the trail no longer goes all the way up the mountain, so I picked a lower spot.
I rated the terrain a 3.5 because it was very muddy and I had to climb over several trees that fell across the trail. In the summer it might be more like a 2.5, especially after the fallen trees are removed.
The coordinates are supposed to take you to the cache but you will probably notice the Christmas tree first. I hung two ornaments high in the tree. One for me and one for Charlie Brown. The cache is well hidden so I added a spoiler hint below.
